TeyvatVault is an independent Genshin Impact guide site at teyvatvault.com. This page explains what data the site collects and why.
What gets collected:
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 shows me which guides get read and how people find them. It uses cookies and collects approximate location, device type, and pages viewed.
- Session recordings: Microsoft Clarity records clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement so I can fix confusing layouts.
- Comments and forms: If you comment or message me, I receive your name, email address, and IP address.
- Hosting: The site runs on Hostinger servers in the United States. Server logs record IP addresses and browser details for security, and site backups are stored in Google Drive.
What I don’t do: I don’t sell your data, run user accounts, or collect payment information.
Cookies: Analytics tools set cookies. You can block or delete them in your browser, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fine without them.
Third parties: Google and Microsoft handle analytics data under their own privacy policies. Links to other sites (HoYoLAB, Medium, Reddit) are outside my control, so check their policies too.
Children: The site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their data. If a child sent me personal information, email me, and I’ll delete it.
Your rights: Depending on where you live, you can ask what data I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it. Email contact@teyvatvault.com and I’ll reply within 30 days.
Changes: If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
